Five-Step Hiring Process

Central Services has a five-step hiring process. This process allows you to have the opportunity to visit our office, ask questions, and get to know Central Services. We want to be sure that we only hire candidates that are a good fit for our team and the position. Each of the steps are explained in detail below:

 

Apply Online

  • Access the online form by going to "Apply Now."
  • Read the job descriptions and find the position that would be the best fit for you.
  • Complete all sections of the application.
  • We will contact you within 10 business days.

Telephone Interview

  • A Central Services’ representative will contact you to schedule a telephone interview, when you are being considered for a position.
  • These interviews are performed on Wednesdays and last about 10-15 minutes.
  • It is your responsibility to contact the office for your interview at (703) 591-5400 on the scheduled date and time.

1st In-Person Interview

  • A Central Services’ representative will contact you to schedule the interview.
  • This interview lasts 20 – 30 minutes.
  • In Person Interviews are performed at our office located at
    11325 Lee Highway
    Suite 103
    Fairfax, Virginia 22030.
  • Our office has a blue roof and is located on the corner of Lee Highway and Shirley Gate Road.
  • Dress code is business professional for in-person interviews

2nd In-Person Interview

  • A Central Services’ representative will contact you to schedule the interview.
  • This interview will last 1-1.5 hours.
  • It will include both interviewing and the completion of various assessments.
  • You should have a list of questions prepared.
  • These questions should be about the position, our company, etc.
  • By asking questions you can ensure that Central Services and the position you are applying for is a good fit for you.

The Offer

  • When Central Services has chosen you for a position a representative will contact you to schedule a date & time for the offer to be presented.
  • All offers are presented at our office (same location as the interviews).
  • An illegal substance abuse screening will be performed when the offer is presented.
  • All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and passing of illegal substance abuse screening.
  • You will have time to review the offer and ask any questions.

You must accept or decline an offer at the time it is presented.
